BTSC Bihar Staff Nurse Vacancy 2025: The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has officially released a notification inviting online applications for the post of Staff Nurse in the Bihar Health Department. A total of 11,389 vacancies have been announced. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications on the official BTSC website – btsc.bihar.gov.in – from April 25, 2025, to May 23, 2025.

Candidates will be required to pay the application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for the Staff Nurse position, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Educational Qualification:
- A candidate must have passed the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
- If the candidate has completed nursing education from outside Bihar, the institute must still be recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- BSc (Nursing) degree holders are also eligible to apply.
- Registration Requirement:
- The applicant must be registered with the Bihar Nursing Registration Council (BNRC), Patna.

Salary and Pay Scale
The appointed Staff Nurses will receive salary under the 7th Pay Commission, at Pay Level-7, based on the following structure:
- Old Pay Band: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800
- Grade Pay: ₹4,600
